Why is breakfast the most important meal of the day?
Simply, a good, balanced breakfast provides the nutrients that people need to start their day off right.
Your brain and central nervous system run on glucose – this is the fuel you need to think, talk walk and carry on your daily life activities. After a good night’s sleep your glucose levels are at their lowest.
By skipping breakfast, your body has to work harder to break down stored carbohydrates, fats and protein to get it moving in the morning. Skipping breakfast to help with weight loss is a common mistake. In fact, the exact opposite will occur.
Going all morning without food means that by the time lunch comes around, you’re starving and are more likely to engage in a frenzy of overeating and poor food choices to satisfy your massive hunger.

By following a healthy lifestyle, which means starting your day off right with a balanced, high-protein breakfast and eating smaller more frequent meals (every 2 -3 hours) throughout the day, combined with a regular exercise program can help you avoid this condition.
