Nutrition

Felice’s Stack
Two weeks before a fight, I’ll go on a superfood routine and become a raw foodist, so all of my supplements are superfoods. I believe in the Hippocrates’ saying, “Let your food be your medicine.” Throughout the day, I drink lots and lots of herbal tea and coconut water.
Sample Diet
Meal One: Upon waking, lemon water with chlorella, maca and spirullina
Meal Two: 1/2 cup oatmeal with 1 tbsp coconut oil and 1tbsp raw cacao powder
Meal Three: (post-workout #1) A piece of fruit or superfood smoothie
Meal Four: (post-workout #2) A big salad with a variety of vegetables, no dressing, just sea salt or an avocado and a baked potato or sweet potato

Favorite Diet Food: Mashed banana with raw cacao powder and coconut oil.
What’s in your Gym Bag? Aside from the usual gym gear, coconut water, hair ties, bandana, chlorella powder, raw food bars, a good exfoliating face wash.
What Do you Like to Do Outside the Gym? I love Caribou coffee. I make it a habit every day to go there and have some alone time and read. When I’m not cutting weight, I love trying new exotic foods. I’m a tomboy and girlie girl all in one. I love being in the outdoors and fishing and camping, but I also love getting my mani/pedi and facial.
How Did you get into Fitness: I’ve been intrigued by fitness since I was in 6th grade. I grew up watching my dad be a health nut. He was always into martial arts and bodybuilding. I realized after picking up a dumbbell a few times that I grew muscles pretty quick. I was addicted to the results and have dedicated my life to health and fitness ever since.
What Do you Love to Listen to when you Work Out: Oh boy, lots and lots of variety. I take it back to old school Motown like The Platters and The Box Tops to 80s rock like Motley Crue, AC/DC, Poison and all the new artists like Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Kings of Leon. I just love music. It makes me happy. With music I can do anything.
